We work with the local shelter to help ensure that no animals are euthanized for lack of shelter space. For the past three years, only animals that are severely injured or have severe behavioral issues are euthanized.animals, but only if we are committed.
LIONEL - This guy came to us as one big matted hairball. When we got done shaving him down, we discovered that he is blind. He'll be here forever.
We do not maintain a shelter and we do that as a very strong commitment. Our dogs come from death row in the local shelters and go into a home environment. That way they get loved on, they are socialized and housetrained. And when they get adopted they are well on their way to be perfect house pets.
Donating is more than just time or money, it's peace of mind. Now you can help us save more small dogs..
The more foster homes we have the more animals we can save. If you are interested, please go to the CONTACT US page and a message.
We rescue all out pets from the local shelters just prior to euthanasia. We don't ever want them to experience the shelter environment again.
We are committed to these guys for life and track them for the rest of their lives. If for any reason, the adopter can't keep the pet, he will come back to us.
SINATRA– Sinatra was purchased at Petland and then trhrown away in the woods when the owner moved We have had him eight years now and he is still afraid of his shadow. He'll be with us forever.

RUFUS – This guy was the best buddy of one of our old friends of STARS. When he passed away, Rufus ended up coming back to us and he'll be with us forever.
MOUSE – This little Diva came to us as a stray through the Lewisville Shelter. It was soon discovered that she is a very senior citizen and a complete Diva. While she has only two or three teeth left, she has a very strong mind and an extremely high opinion of herself. She will be with us forever as her attitude and age make her unadoptable.
